Today you will discover the mountainous heart of the Dominican Republic. On the way, it is worth making a stop and taking a short hike to visit the impressive Gran Jimenoa 1 waterfall. After this natural highlight, you will reach your charming accommodation, located directly on a babbling mountain stream. Enjoy the rest of the day.

After breakfast, a sporty, action-packed day awaits you in the Dominican Alps, as the locals call the mountainous region. The choice is yours: get your adrenaline pumping with river rafting, descend waterfalls with canyoning, or explore the mountain landscape on a mountain bike. The afternoon is yours to enjoy.

Today, we continue towards the north coast. Your accommodation for the next two nights, the Tubagua Eco-Lodge, awaits you with spectacular views over the north coast.

Today, you will set off directly from Tubagua Eco-Lodge for a day full of discoveries. The choice is yours: various hikes, a refreshing dip in a crystal-clear natural pool, or a village and coffee walk where you can experience Dominican traditions up close. You will also gain insights into the lodge’s sustainable concept: recycling, locally sourced food, its own sewage system and targeted support for workers from the nearby village – a place where ecology and authentic living go hand in hand.

Today, the journey continues to the trendy surfing spot of Cabarete – a paradise for anyone who loves sports and action. Your hotel is located right on the beach, just a few minutes’ walk from the lively town centre with its beach bars, restaurants and shops.

The wild surroundings of Cabarete invite you to go on a discovery tour whenever you feel like it. Whether by rental car, on a trekking tour or with one of the numerous water sports on offer.

After breakfast, continue along the north coast. On the way, you will pass the beautiful Playa Grande, ideal for a typical, delicious Dominican lunch. In the afternoon, you will reach Las Galeras at the far end of the Samaná Peninsula. Your accommodation is located directly on the snow-white Caribbean beach.

The authentic fishing village of Las Galeras awaits you. On a guided private hike lasting around three hours, you will discover seven secluded beaches. Afterwards, you will return to Las Galeras by boat.

Today you will discover another highlight of the Samaná Peninsula: El Valle. Your accommodation is harmoniously nestled in nature. The pristine beach is just a few minutes’ walk away.

After breakfast, another natural highlight awaits: your guide will take you on a hike through tropical vegetation to a hidden waterfall in the jungle. In the afternoon, you will have time to relax on the natural village beach.

Today, you will return to the capital. Depending on the rest of your itinerary, you can drop off your hire car at the airport or, if you wish, start an individual extension – we would be happy to plan this with you.
